In the cloister of San Francesco in Castiglion Fiorentino ( Arezzo ) will host the 12th edition of the Medieval Banquet . You'll find yourself in the twenty-first to the fifteenth century, every sound, every detail, every character will look out from the folds of time. The sir and lady , hosts, gathered at the entrance to welcome and accompany them to the tables laid with jute and canvas, upon which are placed candles , centerpiece bowls of herbs and scented water by rose petals . The food tastes sour and spicy , typical of the Middle Ages , are served in the shards of terracotta and enjoy with wooden cutlery , while the host profusely fills the jugs of wine. All accompanied by period music played on ancient instruments and admiring the light of torches and candles, performances by jugglers, jesters , fire eaters, musicians and flag bearers . This year will be present to cheer : The Allegra Brigade , LosnaFire , Magician Traverso, Cloris the Seer and the inevitable group of musicians and flag bearers Terziere Porta Fiorentina. As you can imagine the atmosphere will be unique ! Assessments levied in previous years and the success of the public, we undertake to improve more and more, because we are aware of giving a unique experience of its kind. This is also confirmed reservations that are followed from year to year , and from those who have already participated , and those who did not find place in the previous year do not want to risk being left high and dry once again .
